NVIDIA is now looking for a Senior Compiler Engineer to join our Programmable Vision Accelerator (PVA) Tools Team!

NVIDIA developed a powerful computing platform (PVA) focused on vision and deep learning applications. PVA is being used in many of the largest autonomous vehicle and robotics projects in the world. Join us in solving real-world problems with innovative and groundbreaking compiler development!

What you'll be doing:

  • Crafting and implementing new features for the PVA platform and SDK.

  • Collaborating with application teams to address interesting and relevant compilation challenges.

  • Working closely with team members on projects related to compiler development.

  • Bringing to bear existing technologies and other available resources in the compiler development process.

  • Driving the future of Python, CUDA, and other domain specific languages.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, ECE, or related field (Ph.D. or Master’s preferred) or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of experience developing production-quality compilers and tools.

  • Deep understanding of compiler internals, front-ends, and optimizers.

  • Strong programming fundamentals, especially in C/C++ and Python, with knowledge of parallel computer architectures and optimizations.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with LLVM and MLIR.

  • Familiarity with C++, CUDA.

  • Knowledge and experience with DL networks.

  • Passion for compiler development and a motivation to work on groundbreaking technologies!

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
