This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge innovations that are redefining how people and devices seamlessly connect across the modern enterprise.

What You Might Do

  • Design, develop, and integrate connectivity software features across Android, Windows, and embedded platforms, including SDKs, frameworks, and system services.
  • Implement, optimize, and tune wireless networking protocols and sensing algorithms with a focus on enterprise-scale architectures and deployments.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot peer-to-peer technologies to deliver secure, reliable, and low-latency connectivity across diverse networking scenarios.
  • Collaborate closely with wireless chipset vendors, industry partners, and internal engineering teams to align designs, debug system-level issues, and optimize end-to-end connectivity performance.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex wireless behavior including performance degradation, QoS bottlenecks, interoperability issues, and security constraints in large-scale networks.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 6+ years of experience in device software development, including connectivity features, performance tuning, and debugging.
  • 3+ years of experience developing software SDKs/frameworks on Android, Linux, or similar OS platforms.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, C, C++, or Objective-C, with solid grounding in software engineering fundamentals (OO design, debugging, system-level architecture).
  • Familiarity with radio standards such as 802.11 and Bluetooth, and an understanding of related protocol stacks.
  • Experience collaborating across hardware, OS, QA, and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Ability to work independently, drive technical tasks to closure, and clearly communicate root-cause findings to senior leadership and partners.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded systems programming for performance-critical wireless features.
  • Strong understanding of peer-to-peer technologies and sensing techniques.
  • Experience working directly with wireless chipset vendors to optimize connectivity performance and resolve interoperability issues.
  • Comfort working across diverse platforms including Linux, Windows, embedded systems, cloud-managed networks, and mobile OS stacks.
  • Expertise in wireless performance analysis using tools such as Wireshark, logging frameworks, and low-level tracing.
