As a Senior Consultant focused on Data Engineering in our Managed Services team, this is an opportunity to work at the leading edge of Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms, influence how organizations adopt next-generation analytics, and grow your career in a consulting environment that values ownership and impact.

This is a remote position, and you must be based in the United States.  

What You’ll Do

  • Translate business needs into scalable, high-performing data models and dashboards
  • Own and drive delivery across multiple client engagements simultaneously
  • Collaborate across distributed teams (U.S. and India) to deliver high-quality consulting outcomes
  • Support and maintain existing solutions, adding features, and new pipelines;
  • Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end data solutions in Microsoft Fabric
  • Build and optimize Power BI reporting ecosystems, including semantic models and enterprise reporting strategies
  • Work with Databricks and modern data platforms to support advanced data engineering and analytics use cases
  • Engage directly with business stakeholders and executives to define reporting strategies and data roadmaps

What We’re Looking For

1. Microsoft Fabric

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines)
  • Strong understanding of modern data architecture (medallion/layered design, OneLake concepts)
  • Experience building end-to-end analytics solutions inside Fabric
  • Familiarity with real-time analytics, data integration, and unified analytics platforms

2. Power BI

  • Deep expertise in Power BI development, modeling, and optimization
  • Strong experience with DAX and performance tuning
  • Experience with semantic models and enterprise reporting
  • Power Query and data transformation skills
  • Paginated reporting experience
  • Understanding of governance and deployment best practices

3. Databricks & Modern Data Engineering

  • Experience working with Databricks in Azure environments
  • Understanding of Spark-based processing
  • Experience with ELT pipelines and large-scale data transformation
  • Integration with data lakes and Fabric environments
  • Exposure to AI/ML workloads is a plus

Additional Experience We Value

  • Experience with Azure data services (Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Synapse)
  • Star schema and dimensional modeling
  • Working with structured and unstructured data sources and APIs
  • Prior consulting experience
  • Strong communication skills

  • Exposure to AI-enabled analytics or Copilot-driven experiences
  • Advanced visualization (Power BI, Python, etc.)
  • Microsoft certifications in Fabric, Power BI, or Azure
