The expected pay range for this position is $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 USD annually, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.Makse Group is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Workday Financials Practice. This role requires 2+ years of direct implementation experience across Workday Core Financials, Procurement, and Expense Management. Functional knowledge around multiple Workday solutions and functional areas, as well as a firm understanding of end-to-end business processes, such as Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Customer-to-Cash, Fixed Assets, Expense Management, Banking and Settlement, Budgeting, Inventory Management, and Grants Management, among others.
Job Responsibilities:
Support our client’s day-to-day Workday Financial Management workstream and recommend best practices related to Workday functionality.
Modify and redevelop/engineer business processes based on unique client requirements and best practices across the Workday platform.
Develop system configuration solutions, dashboards, composite reports and calculated fields; demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems, and assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
Support client-side implementations including assembling data gathering workbooks as well as system testing and UAT.
Troubleshoot business process failures, perform root cause analyses, and develop plans to mitigate and avoid future system issues
Work with clients to help convert legacy data into Workday.
Assisting the integrations team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and other third party/custom solutions.
Identify client enhancement opportunities for existing and new features introduced across new Workday releases.
Mentor junior staff.
Requirements:
2+ years of functional experience with Workday Financial Management with demonstrated success of hands-on experience with delivering Workday solutions in this area.
2+ years of experience as an Implementation Senior Consultant or Systems Senior Analyst with Workday, a Workday Partner or Workday Client.
2+ years of projects workstream experience and training.
Advanced report writing skills; experience building dashboards, custom validations, condition rules and calculated fields.
Understand and follow company policies surrounding data governance, security, tenant configuration, maintenance, system development life-cycle and integration development.
Adaptive insights solutions experience is a plus.
Experience delivering Workday Financials solutions either with a Workday Partner or Workday Client.
Strong functional knowledge of financial systems and processes.
Proficiency in Workday reporting tools, dashboards, custom validations, and calculated fields.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
Workday Certification or Workday PRO certification highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple clients concurrently on short duration projects.
Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional experience preferred.
