About the Role:
Fetch is seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Consumer Public Relations Senior Manager to lead consumer-facing communications that strengthen brand awareness, drive cultural relevance, and support business growth. As part of the larger Consumer and Cultural Marketing team at Fetch, this role will develop and execute integrated PR strategies that generate earned media coverage, elevate Fetch's brand story, and deepen engagement with consumers across key audiences.
The ideal candidate is an experienced PR leader with a proven track record of securing top-tier media coverage, developing compelling narratives, managing agency partnerships, and executing high-impact campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes.
This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States.
Role Responsibilities:
Consumer PR Strategy & Storytelling
- Develop and execute Fetch's consumer PR strategy in alignment with company objectives, brand priorities, and growth initiatives.
- Identify and create compelling storylines that position Fetch as a category leader in rewards, shopping, consumer technology, and lifestyle.
- Build integrated public relations plans that support product launches, partnerships, brand campaigns, consumer insights, and company tentpoles.
- Translate business initiatives into culturally relevant narratives that resonate with consumers and media.
Media Relations
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with consumer, lifestyle, business, technology, retail, and marketing media.
- Proactively secure high-impact earned media coverage across national, regional, trade, and digital outlets.
- Lead media outreach, pitching, briefing materials, press releases, media training, and interview preparation.
- Manage rapid-response communications opportunities, as needed.
Campaigns & Partnerships
- Partner closely with Consumer Marketing, Consumer Product Marketing, Social Media, and Brand & Influencer Partnerships teams to amplify key initiatives through earned media.
- Develop communications strategies around celebrity, creator, and brand partnership programs.
- Identify opportunities to drive cultural relevance through timely moments, trends, and news cycles.
- Support event-based pr, irl activations, and major company announcements.
Agency Management
- Lead external PR agency relationships, ensuring alignment with business priorities and measurable performance outcomes.
- Manage budgets, scopes of work, and agency deliverables.
- Provide strategic direction and coaching to agency teams to maximize impact and efficiency.
Measurement & Insights
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks and scorecard to evaluate communications performance.
- Monitor media coverage, industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Deliver executive-ready reporting and insights that demonstrate PR's contribution to brand awareness, engagement, and business objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or brand communications.
- Experience leading consumer PR programs for high-growth technology, consumer, retail, marketplace, fintech, loyalty, or app-based brands.
- Demonstrated success securing national earned media coverage and managing high-profile campaigns.
- Strong media relationships across consumer, lifestyle, business, and technology outlets.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Experience managing PR agencies and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proven ability to translate complex business strategies into compelling external narratives.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working in-house at a consumer technology company.
- Experience supporting product launches and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with influencer, creator, and social amplification strategies.
- Experience with executive communications and media training.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Compensation:
