Do you enjoy turning complex products, government operations, and customer outcomes into clear, credible stories? Are you energized by building both the content engine and the customer programs that help a growing organization earn trust? If so, you may be the right fit for Grant Street Group.

Grant Street Group builds software that helps government agencies deliver critical financial and public services. We’re looking for a senior marketer who can turn client expertise and outcomes into a credible market presence and stronger client relationships. This is a hands-on builder role. You’ll set the strategy, build practical processes, and create high-quality work—from interviewing executives, subject-matter experts, and government clients to turning ideas into published content.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and manage an editorial roadmap aligned with GSG’s priorities, deciding which stories to tell, for whom, and in what format.

  • Research, interview, write, and edit thought leadership, market perspectives, client stories, case studies, reports, emails, web content, campaign assets, executive bylines, webinar narratives, and social content.

  • Create a repeatable process for identifying customer outcomes and proof points, then develop a bench of client references, speakers, and advocates for case studies, webinars, events, sales references, and co-marketing.

  • Draw out strong points of view from GSG executives and subject-matter experts and turn their expertise into distinctive market-facing content.

  • Partner with Client Success and operations leaders on voice-of-client programs, including relationship surveys or NPS; own communications, response capture, analysis, reporting, and insight-sharing.

  • Establish lightweight standards for content intake, prioritization, review, approvals, voice, reuse, distribution, and performance measurement.

  • Partner with Growth Marketing to distribute content across campaigns, web, email, social, and events, using engagement, conversion, pipeline influence, and customer participation data to improve the program.

You May Be a Great Fit If You

  • Have 5-7+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, customer marketing, editorial strategy, or a related discipline, ideally in enterprise software or another complex market.

  • Have a portfolio that demonstrates both original thought leadership and credible customer storytelling—not only campaign copy or social posts.

  • Are an excellent writer, developmental editor, and interviewer who can make technical or operational subjects clear without flattening their substance.

  • Have built a content, advocacy, reference, or customer-engagement program from the ground up.

  • Exercise strong customer-facing judgment and can work directly with executives, Sales, Product, Client Success, and public-sector clients.

  • Create structure when inputs are ambiguous, stakeholders are busy, and approvals require persistence.

  • Have working knowledge of SEO and emerging answer-engine and AI-search practices, along with sound judgment about using AI to improve research and workflow.

  • Can manage multiple priorities and external contributors while remaining hands-on in the work.

Bonus If You Have

  • Experience marketing to state or local government audiences or working in GovTech.

  • Experience with customer reference, advocacy, NPS, client communications, or retention programs.

  • Familiarity with long, relationship-driven sales cycles and markets where credibility and customer proof matter more than hype.
