What Talent Acquisition contributes to Cardinal Health

Human Resources designs, implements and delivers human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, talent management, diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, among others. This function anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs in alignment with business strategies.
Talent Acquisition attracts, identifies and acquires skilled labor to support business needs and develops strategies for growing the organization's talent pool. This family evaluates and screens talent using skills assessments, testing and reference checking, and manages internal and external job advertising and posting. This family also manages relationships with third party recruiting agencies, prospects talent at employment fairs and on campus at educational institutions and manages new employee induction.

Talent Acquisition is responsible for sourcing, assessing, and driving the selection of talent to support business needs.

  • Proactively and creatively sources, leads and screens candidates to develop pools of talent for all positions across Cardinal Health.

  • Assesses candidates through competency-based screening, ensuring only qualified candidates are referred.

  • Creates a positive candidate experience.

  • Ensures the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process.

Accountabilities in this role

Responsible for assisting in the selection and hiring of talent for Cardinal Health. This would include but not be limited to:

  • Handling candidate interview process including all scheduling, administrative and logistical details

  • Facilitate the candidate on-boarding process by creating offer letters, initiating and monitoring background screenings, providing orientation details, and submitting candidate paperwork for processing

  • Managing other logistical details including invoice processing

  • Managing recruiter/hiring manager/candidate communication

  • Creating a positive candidate experience

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience or 1+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Advanced computer skills (experience in Workday, Outlook and other internet-based systems and tools), preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Must have strong attention to detail, initiative, a high level of integrity, judgement, and follow-through

  • Must be willing to work a fixed night shift (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM Manila)

  • Comfortable participating/contributing to a global team environment

**Internal employees must have at least 1 year of solid HR / TA experience to be eligible to apply for this position.
