Snowflake is looking for a legal leader to help power our global channels and partner ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Director, Associate General Counsel – Technology Transactions and Alliances, this role will lead a small, high-performing team of attorneys supporting Snowflake’s Channels and Alliances organization. You will serve as a strategic advisor to business leadership while directly shaping the legal frameworks that enable key aspects of Snowflake’s go-to-market strategy.

This is a hybrid role based in Menlo Park, CA.
What You’ll DoStructure, negotiate, and close agreements with key partners, including reseller, marketplace, and alliance agreements.
Build and optimize templates, playbooks, documentation, and scalable contracting processes to support high-volume, global channel and partner programs.
Manage contractual relationships with global system integrators (GSIs) and other key ecosystem partners.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Deal Desk, Finance, Tax, Sales, and other Legal teams to drive deals and projects to successful completion.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across multiple company organizations.
Align legal strategy with Snowflake’s evolving global go-to-market model.
Balance legal risk with business objectives to deliver practical, market-aligned solutions.
Drive improvements that increase speed, clarity, and consistency across the partner lifecycle.
Lead and mentor a team of attorneys
Support other responsibilities of the broader team as required.
JD and active bar membership (ability to practice in California required).
7+ years of legal experience, including top law firm training and in-house experience at a SaaS or technology company.
Deep experience negotiating channel, reseller, distribution, marketplace, and alliance agreements.
Demonstrated experience driving complex, cross-functional projects and deals to closure
Proficiency in developing and managing scaled programs that efficiently achieve desired business outcomes while maintaining appropriate guardrails
Strong knowledge of SaaS business models and related legal considerations (data, privacy, security, and IP).
Excellent judgment, negotiation skills, and executive presence.
Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
A business partner mindset, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Curiosity and openness to leveraging AI tools to improve legal workflows.
Proven leadership experience managing attorneys.
