Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential — and people too. With a culture that’s all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology — and careers — to the next level.

Snowflake is looking for a legal leader to help power our global channels and partner ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Director, Associate General Counsel – Technology Transactions and Alliances, this role will lead a small, high-performing team of attorneys supporting Snowflake’s Channels and Alliances organization. You will serve as a strategic advisor to business leadership while directly shaping the legal frameworks that enable key aspects of Snowflake’s go-to-market strategy.

This is a high-impact opportunity to work at the center of Snowflake’s growth—advising on global partnerships, building scalable contracting infrastructure, and helping drive revenue through innovative ecosystem models.

If you are a pragmatic, business-oriented technology lawyer who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys leading both people and programs, we’d love to meet you.

This is a hybrid role based in Menlo Park, CA.

What You’ll Do
  • Structure, negotiate, and close agreements with key partners, including reseller, marketplace, and alliance agreements.

  • Build and optimize templates, playbooks, documentation, and scalable contracting processes to support high-volume, global channel and partner programs.

  • Manage contractual relationships with global system integrators (GSIs) and other key ecosystem partners.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Deal Desk, Finance, Tax, Sales, and other Legal teams to drive deals and projects to successful completion.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across multiple company organizations.

  • Align legal strategy with Snowflake’s evolving global go-to-market model.

  • Balance legal risk with business objectives to deliver practical, market-aligned solutions.

  • Drive improvements that increase speed, clarity, and consistency across the partner lifecycle.

  • Lead and mentor a team of attorneys

  • Support other responsibilities of the broader team as required.

What We’re Looking For
  • JD and active bar membership (ability to practice in California required).

  • 7+ years of legal experience, including top law firm training and in-house experience at a SaaS or technology company.

  • Deep experience negotiating channel, reseller, distribution, marketplace, and alliance agreements.

  • Demonstrated experience driving complex, cross-functional projects and deals to closure

  • Proficiency in developing and managing scaled programs that efficiently achieve desired business outcomes while maintaining appropriate guardrails

  • Strong knowledge of SaaS business models and related legal considerations (data, privacy, security, and IP).

  • Excellent judgment, negotiation skills, and executive presence.

  • Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

  • A business partner mindset, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Curiosity and openness to leveraging AI tools to improve legal workflows.

  • Proven leadership experience managing attorneys.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
