Qualifications:
Education / Certifications': from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction with the ability to acquire a New Jersey In-House Counsel license if applicable.
Job specific requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, with time spent both in-house and at a leading national law firm/government.
Location: East Hanover, NJ. (Hybrid - 2.5 Days Per Week (50%) in Office, required.)

Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $142,700 to $235,455; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program.
In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. - Lead and manage a broad docket of complex litigation matters, including potential MDLs, mass torts, governmental investigations and lawsuits, contractual disputes, and class actions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for outside counsel, overseeing case strategy, budgets, and day-to-day case management.
- Develop and execute litigation strategies that align with company goals and risk tolerance.
- Present updates and training to non-lawyers in clear and compelling manner.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams-including Finance, Corporate and Government Affairs, Commercial and Sales teams -- to gather facts, assess exposure, develop strategy, and develop coordinated responses.
- Oversee discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Provide clear, actionable risk assessments and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Work with litigation team to develop metrics on success, spend, risk mitigation, and exposure.
- Support internal investigations and regulatory inquiries as needed.
- Provide ongoing legal advice to businesses regarding litigation risk.

- Experience reviewing and providing legal advice regarding marketing materials, sales presentations, and commercial contracts.
- Extensive experience managing MDLs, governmental investigations, commercial disputes, mass torts, and consumer class actions.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple complex matters simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Business-minded with a pragmatic approach to risk and problem-solving.
- Proven ability to build productive relationships across teams and functions.
