  • Define and track success metrics: Establish and refine KPIs that measure the health of the subscription business and define success for the company.
  • Build self-serve reporting tools and dashboard: Create and maintain automated dashboards and reporting tools that enable business partners to monitor business health and explore data independently.
  • Translate data into insights: Synthesize complex analyses into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that inform leadership decisions and improve revenue growth, retention, and profitability.
  • Communicate findings clearly: Present results and recommendations to a broad range of stakeholders in a concise, compelling, and accessible way.
  • Influence business reviews: Shape weekly and monthly business reviews with executive stakeholders, ensuring the right metrics and insights inform decisions on growth, retention, and profitability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in a product analytics, data analytics, or related role supporting subscription-based businesses.
  • Exploratory analysis: Ability to conduct exploratory data analyses and synthesize complex datasets and ambiguous questions into clear, actionable insights.
  • Technical skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets; experience with data transformation and modeling (e.g., dbt) is a plus. Extensive experience with a BI tool such as Omni, Looker, or Lightdash.
  • Statistical analysis: Ability to perform statistical analyses and create visualizations using R or Python; experience with forecasting, cohort analysis, or financial modeling is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, applied math, data science, economics, computer science, or related discipline).
  • Mindset & collaboration: Curious, motivated self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, high-performing environment and values high-quality, thoughtful analysis.
