The Information Technology team at Rubrik influences business processes, employee experience, and technologies to scale our organization to $1B+. This team creates operational efficiency across the company by centralizing the management of Infrastructure, Technology, and Data. The IT team ensures all stages of the software development lifecycle in a secured environment and scrutinizes the deployment of proper processes along with governance. They champion Rubrik on Rubrik and are the first customers of the Engineering teams at Rubrik.

Rubrik Corp IT is constructed of 100% SaaS and 0% on-premises. The IT team caters to accelerated enhancement of business value and multiple day-to-day business processes through our varied SaaS applications like Salesforce.com, Oracle Netsuite, Workday, Snowflake, Etrade, jitterbit, Allocadia, etc. This team also delivers high-paced business outcomes with 100% system uptime backed by agile, nimble, simple, but cohesive Cloud architectures.

About the role:

Join our Data Engineering and Analytics team at our Palo Alto headquarters to design and deliver the data infrastructure that powers our G&A business functions. In this high impact role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of data initiatives from translating complex business requirements into scalable data models, to delivering proactive insights that inform critical decisions. You will serve as a key partner to stakeholders across GTM programs, Product operations, Pricing & Treasury, enabling accurate reporting, operational visibility and strategic planning. Your work will directly support directors and Senior Leaders within Sales and G&A, influencing revenue growth, strategy and operational efficiency through trusted, data driven decision making.

What you'll do:
  • Business Partnership & Delivery: Serve as data partner across GTM and G&A business functions. Drive high impact projects from initial analysis through to final delivery and closure.
  • Requirements Discovery: Lead deep dive engagement sessions with stakeholders to translate business questions into actionable technical roadmaps, ensuring data solutions solve core strategic problems.
  • Architectural Excellence: Design and optimize scalable data pipelines and sophisticated dbt models in Snowflake. Establish a robust Semantic layer to ensure standardized metric definitions and alignment across distributed G&A data sources.
  • Advanced Analytics & Visualization: Deliver executive level Tableau narratives. Transform raw data into proactive analytical tools that provide predictive insights and automated alerting for senior leadership.
  • AI & Data Culture: Modernize our data culture by implementing Generative AI powered analytics. Develop "ChatGPT for data" solutions that allow business users to explore information and uncover insights using natural language.
  • ​​Cross Functional & Systems Collaboration: Work closely within the IT ecosystem, partnering with internal application and systems teams to ensure data alignment, seamless system integrations, and high data integrity.
Experience you'll need:
  • Experience: 10–12 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence within a fast paced SaaS/Technology company.
  • Core Tech Stack: Expert level mastery of Snowflake (architecture and optimization) and dbt (modular modeling and CI/CD) is mandatory.
  • Data Visualization: Advanced proficiency in Tableau, with a proven ability to create compelling, high performance dashboards for executive audiences.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep expertise in Salesforce data architecture and schemas (Opportunity, Account, Quote, Contracts etc) and a comprehensive understanding of how CRM workflows translate into revenue lifecycle metrics and SaaS business logic.
  • Operational Rigor: Strong experience defining KPIs for complex data initiatives and working effectively within an agile environment.

  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skill in managing expectations, negotiating priorities, and communicating technical trade offs to non-technical leaders.
  • Problem Solving & Analytical Mindset: Strong problem solving ability with a "first-principles" approach, prioritizing data quality, scalability, and long term maintainability over temporary fixes.

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
