We’re a remote-friendly company with offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
As a Senior Designer for Marketing Brand and Creative, you will be responsible for helping shape our company's visual identity and developing compelling visual content for various marketing materials. This role combines artistic talent with strategic thinking to ensure that all designs align with business goals and brand guidelines, effectively engaging the target audience.
You will work closely with our design agency, our product marketing and messaging team, and our product design team to translate our brand into various marketing materials. In your role, you will help design the company website and the assets within it. Additionally, you will create custom iconography, visuals, animations, presentations, and templates for external marketing collateral.
This position reports directly to our Chief Design Officer.
Your Impact- Brand Identity Management: Together with our trusted external agency, our Brand and Creative Operations Manager and our product marketing and messaging team, you will develop, maintain, and evolve brand identity guidelines, including logos, color palettes, typography, and overall visual systems.
- Creative Asset Creation: Design a wide range of marketing materials for both digital and print media, such as website graphics, social media assets, email templates, advertisements, brochures, presentations, and event collateral.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing managers, copywriters, product teams, and engineers, to translate marketing strategies and business objectives into high-impact visual stories.
- Conceptualization and Storytelling: Participate in creative brainstorms and develop original design concepts that resonate with the target audience and drive action.
- Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring all designs meet quality standards, brand guidelines, and project deadlines.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present and articulate creative ideas and design solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and refining designs as needed.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the brand's creative output remains fresh and innovative.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in graphic design or a similar role within an in-house creative department or agency environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications Design, or a related field.
- Expertise in design software, particularly the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma.
- Experience with motion graphics, animation tools (e.g., After Effects), or generative AI tools is a plus.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and a diverse range of high-quality design work across different mediums is essential.

Interview Process
The interview process varies by role but typically begins with a 30-minute interview with a Northbeam recruiter, followed by a video interview with the hiring manager. Next, candidates complete a role-specific video interview followed by video or onsite interviews with several team members. The final step is a video interview with our CEO/Co-founder. The entire interview process is usually 5-7 interviews total and requires around 5-8 hours of your time.
