Job Summary
CONVO is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and operate the delivery infrastructure for its agentic platform. You’ll design and maintain CI/CD and GitOps pipelines for Python services, agents, tools, and platform configurations, with a strong focus on Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure, security, observability, and safe deployment practices. You’ll also integrate automated testing and LLM evaluation gates into releases, ensuring reliable delivery, traceability, and efficient rollback across environments.
Technical missionBuild and operate the delivery system for agentic framework, service and agent releases, with repeatable evaluation gates, strong isolation and safe rollback.
Key responsibilities- Design CI/CD pipelines for Python services, agent definitions, prompts, tools and platform configuration.
- Implement GitOps-based Kubernetes deployments with promotion, rollback and environment-specific policy controls.
- Integrate automated unit, API, security and LLM-evaluation checks into release gates.
- Implement secrets handling, sandbox isolation and least-privilege deployment identities.
- Instrument pipelines and deployed services for release traceability, health monitoring and incident diagnosis.
- Maintain reusable deployment templates and coach engineering teams on release standards.
- Minimum experience: 6+ years in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering, including 3+ years with production Kubernetes, GitOps and infrastructure as code.
- Strong CI/CD and GitOps experience for Kubernetes-hosted services.
- Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code and practical cloud operations experience, preferably Azure.
- Python scripting for pipeline tooling, release checks and operational automation.
- Secrets management, container security and workload-isolation practices.
- Monitoring and alerting for both delivery pipelines and runtime services.
- Experience making automated test and evaluation results enforceable in CI.
- Release strategies such as canary, blue/green and progressive delivery.
- LLM or agent evaluation frameworks and benchmark execution in CI.
- Software supply-chain controls, artifact signing and dependency/security scanning.
- Reusable CI/CD templates for services, agents and framework releases.
- Automated quality, security and LLM-evaluation gates.
- GitOps deployment definitions with tested rollback paths.
- Release observability, audit trail and operational documentation.
- Works with Infrastructure, Agent Runtime, QA Automation, AI Test & Dataset Engineering and service owners across all pods.
