NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. Today, we're tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. Doing what's never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world's best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you'll be part of a diverse, supportive environment where we inspire one another to do our best work. Come join the team and make a lasting impact on the world!

Do you enjoy making messy workflows reliable? Are you energized by using automation to save engineering teams time? We are looking for a DevOps-minded Software Engineer to build productivity tools that help program managers and engineering teams move faster with clearer data, fewer manual steps, and better day-to-day visibility. We apply software engineering to engineering operations: automating status workflows, connecting systems of record, improving dashboards, and reducing repetitive work across complex programs. This role is practical and hands-on, with room to write software, debug real workflows, improve reporting, and make internal systems useful enough for daily use. We value practical systems thinking, automation, and operational follow-through more than abstract whiteboard exercises.

What you'll be doing:

We will rely on you to build tools that make program execution clearer, more reliable, and less manual. You'll work with program managers, engineering managers, software teams, operations teams, and leaders to turn recurring operational pain into durable software.

  • Build internal tools, dashboards, scripts, automations, and lightweight applications for program and engineering teams.

  • Automate status reporting, risk tracking, dependency tracking, action item follow-up, release readiness, roadmap visibility, and executive reporting.

  • Integrate data from Jira, GitHub, spreadsheets, Slack, Teams, Outlook, CI dashboards, internal databases, and other engineering systems.

  • Debug stale dashboards, inconsistent data, fragile automations, access issues, and unclear ownership flows.

  • Keep tools healthy after launch through documentation, data hygiene, user support, adoption work, and lightweight runbooks.

What we need to see:

We are looking for someone who can write useful software and also accepts the operational work required to make that software trusted. The best fit is a pragmatic engineer who is comfortable with imperfect data, changing requirements, and workflows that do not arrive as clean product specs.

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, engineering productivity, internal tools, workflow automation, or engineering operations.

  • Experience building internal tools, dashboards, data integrations, backend services, scripts, or lightweight web applications.

  • Practical skills with scripting, APIs, databases, reporting tools, and automation using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, PowerShell, Apps Script, or similar technologies.

  • Working understanding of DevOps or engineering operations concepts such as automation, observability, workflow reliability, CI systems, release readiness, and operational ownership.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • We'd love to hear from you if you have built tools for engineering operations, developer productivity, program management, release management, technical operations, or DevOps teams.

  • You will stand out if you have turned spreadsheets, manual trackers, status rituals, or ad hoc reporting into durable tools and automated workflows.

  • Experience with data pipelines, permissions models, dashboard governance, business intelligence tools, workflow systems, onboarding, adoption, and partner communication is also valuable.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 176,000 USD - 276,000 USD for Level 4, and 208,000 USD - 333,500 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.

Applications for this job will be accepted at least until July 12, 2026.
