The Sr. Director of Business Applications will lead the strategy for ERP applications, manage teams, and collaborate with senior leaders to enhance business operations.
We are looking for a Sr. Director of Business Applications to lead a foundational pillar of our Tech Services organization. Reporting to the VP of Tech Services, you will be responsible for creating a unified and scalable ERP ecosystem that drives operational efficiency and enables our growth. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you will partner directly with senior leadership across the company, including Accounting, Finance, HR, and Legal.
You will lead the strategy, architecture, and execution for all core business applications, with a primary focus on our ERP (Workday, Anaplan) platforms. You will manage and mentor a team of business systems leaders and engineers, aligning their efforts to support the most critical needs of the business. This is a remote role reporting to the Vice President, Tech Services.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute a cohesive strategy and roadmap for all ERP and corporate business systems, ensuring investments are aligned with the company's strategic priorities.
- Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders in Finance, Accounting, Legal, and HR to understand business needs and translate them into a clear and actionable technology roadmap.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new business applications and technologies, making tech-agnostic decisions to support long-term growth and efficiency.
- Directly manage and develop our team leaders for G&A Technology and FP&A Technology. You will be responsible for building a strong, high-performing team.
- Establish a shared vision and clear standards for our business systems engineering, promoting best practices in DevOps, data management, and custom application development.
- Ensure that our core ERP platforms and integrations (Workday, Anaplan) are architected and maintained to operate seamlessly and support our long-term business strategy.
- Act as the primary technology partner for our corporate teams, owning the portfolio of applications that support their workflows and drive business outcomes.
- Oversee the management of key platforms, including Workday HCM, Workday Financials, Anaplan, and a portfolio of key services supporting our FP&A, Accounting, and HR organizations.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and resolve issues across corporate departments, ensuring our business systems efforts are coordinated and focused on the highest-value work.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role managing enterprise applications or business systems.
- Deep expertise in managing core ERP and corporate business applications, with hands-on experience with Workday and/or Anaplan.
- Proven experience managing technology budgets, forecasting future investments, and presenting business cases to executive leadership to secure funding and align with company goals.
- Strong strategic and technical acumen, with the ability to define a clear technology roadmap and make informed decisions on architecture and investments.
- Someone who can develop talent, build high-performing teams in a remote environment, and inspire a shared vision.
- Partner with senior-level stakeholders and business leaders to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Demonstrated experience translating enterprise strategy into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
- Capability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
- Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
- Capability to work with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.
Pay:
The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
Zone A: $174,320 - $246,230 + equity + benefits
Zone B: $191,752 - $270,853 + equity + benefits
Zone C: $209,184 - $295,476 + equity + benefits
Zone D: $226,616 - $320,099 + equity + benefits

Starting base salary for you will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include education; training; skills; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; our needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and understanding of geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and great compensation package based on their roles and locations.
