  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations across the team

  • Foster a high-performing, solutions-oriented team culture focused on quality, consistency, and partnership

  • Ensure effective resource allocation across competing priorities and business needs

Contract Review & Risk Oversight

  • Review, structure, and negotiate complex or high-impact agreements across all contract types

  • Ensure alignment with company risk tolerance, legal standards, and commercial objectives

  • Partner closely with Legal on non-standard terms, escalations, and evolving risk frameworks

Template, Playbook & Governance Ownership

  • Own the development and continuous improvement of contract templates, playbooks, and standard language

  • Partner with subject matter experts (Legal, Compliance, Finance, etc.) to ensure accuracy and relevance

  • Drive standardization to reduce cycle times and improve negotiation outcomes

  • Ensure appropriate governance, review, and approval processes for all template updates

Cross-Functional Partnership & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Serve as the internal face of contracting and a trusted advisor to cross-functional partners

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Sales, Provider Relations, Partnerships, Legal, Finance, and Operations

  • Provide guidance, training, and transparency on contracting processes, expectations, and timelines

  • Proactively identify friction points and drive solutions that improve the overall contracting experience

About you...

  • Deep experience managing multiple contract types within the healthcare space (e.g., client/customer, vendor, partner agreements)

  • Strong understanding of contract structures, negotiation strategies, and risk management

  • Experience with contract lifecycle management systems (e.g., Ironclad)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of building or scaling contracting or deal desk functions
