Lead the transformation of enterprise software engineering in an AI-first world. This role defines the strategy, architecture, and operating model for an intelligent software ecosystem where commercial SaaS, custom software, AI agents, and automation work together to accelerate business outcomes. You will shape how the enterprise makes Build, Buy, and Agent decisions while establishing the engineering foundations, governance, and AI-native platforms that power the next generation of enterprise software.
What You'll be doing:
Define and execute the long-term strategy for enterprise software engineering in an AI-first, agentic world.
Lead a global engineering organization across Enterprise Applications, AI Engineering.
Drive the company's Build, Buy, and Agent strategy, balancing innovation, speed, cost, and long-term architectural direction.
Architect and modernize enterprise platforms by integrating commercial SaaS, custom software, APIs, AI agents, and intelligent automation into a unified ecosystem.
Establish world-class engineering practices across software engineering, platform engineering, SRE, DevSecOps, security, reliability, and developer experience.
Lead enterprise-wide modernization initiatives, including cloud transformation, AI adoption, platform consolidation, and engineering modernization.
Build and develop high-performing engineering leaders while fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
Partner with executive leadership and strategic technology providers to shape technology strategy, influence product roadmaps, and drive business impact.
What We Need to See:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience); Master's degree preferred.
18+ years of software engineering experience, including 10+ years leading globally distributed engineering organizations through enterprise-scale transformation.
Deep expertise in modern software engineering, cloud-native platforms, AI-enabled systems, and a strong track record of making strategic Build, Buy, and Agent decisions.
Proven success building high-performing engineering organizations, influencing executive stakeholders, and delivering secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise platforms.
Ways to Stand Out from the crowd:
Experience building and scaling AI-native or agentic platforms that transformed enterprise productivity or business operations.
Demonstrated track record of delivering step-change improvements in engineering productivity, developer experience, or business outcomes through technology innovation.
Recognized technical leader through patents, open-source contributions, publications, conference speaking, or leadership within the AI engineering community.
Passion for building exceptional engineering cultures and developing future technology leaders.
