Position Overview

The Senior Director of Demand & Forecast Planning will lead the development and execution of demand planning strategies to ensure optimal purchase signal and alignment with commercial objectives. This role is a key bridge across sales, finance, and operations balancing customer needs with inventory goals managing volatility, optimizing stock, and supporting strategic growth. The Sr. Director of Forecast and Demand Planning is critical in driving accurate forecasts, enabling supply chain efficiency, and supporting financial and business goals.

Responsibilities

Demand Planning

  • Develop and maintain robust demand forecasts to guide supply chain purchasing decisions.
  • Run SKU-level analysis and ensure supply demand is the most up-to-date at the SKU DC level.

Forecast Planning

  • Manage a team that partners with commercial teams and finance to create channel- and SKU-level forecasts that reflect sales targets and align with financial budgets.
  • Incorporate new product launches and promotional activities into forecasting models.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and process.
  • Perform analyses and give recommendations on various supply scenarios given changing capacities & demand outlooks

Newness & Sample Planning

  • Lead the team that ensures all new products and sample data are accurate, complete, and shared across relevant teams.
  • Maintain clean and timely data availability for planning and execution.

S&OP Data & Systems Management

  • Run the Demand part of S&Op and ensure alignment across Sales, Supply, Finance, and Operations.
  • Implement and optimize OPC demand planning systems.
  • Drive data integrity and reporting accuracy to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in, demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning and operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting systems (e.g., OPC, data bricks).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for innovation.

Salary Range: up to $150-160k

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
