Position Overview:

We are looking for a senior business leader to own the B2C growth and customer-outcomes engine for our pre-licensing education business.

This role is responsible for the full customer journey, from how aspiring professionals discover and choose Colibri through enrollment, course completion, exam readiness, and licensure.

Think of this as a GM-style role with a strong go-to-market orientation. You will own commercial outcomes including revenue, contribution, customer acquisition efficiency, and conversion, while also shaping the product and learner experience that drives completion and pass rates.

You will work across Marketing, Product, Sales, Operations, and Shared Services, setting priorities for dedicated resources and aligning teams around a common set of business and customer outcomes.

What You'll Do

    •   Own the strategy for acquiring and converting new customers across paid, organic, content, lifecycle, partnership, and referral channels. Continuously improve funnel efficiency, CAC, conversion, and contribution.

    •   Improve the experience from enrollment through course completion, exam preparation, and first-attempt pass rate. Partner closely with Product and Operations to identify the changes that will have the greatest impact on learner outcomes.
    •    Own revenue, contribution, customer acquisition economics, completion, and licensure outcomes across the segment. Establish clear targets and operating metrics and use them to prioritize investment and resources.
    •    Direct the priorities of dedicated Marketing, Product, Sales, and operational resources supporting the business. While these teams sit within functional organizations, this role sets the business priorities they execute against.
    •    Standardize the acquisition-to-licensure motion across brands and markets while preserving the flexibility needed to respond to local differences.
    •    Partner with the post-licensing business to create a seamless transition into continuing education, membership, and professional development, increasing engagement and customer lifetime value.
    •    Identify practical opportunities to use AI, automation, personalization, and data to improve acquisition, conversion, engagement, learner outcomes, and operating efficiency.
    •  Lead a regular business-review cadence focused on funnel health, revenue, contribution, customer outcomes, and roadmap priorities. Maintain the regulatory and compliance standards required within professional education

What You'll Need to Succeed

    • 12–15+ years in growth, general management, or operations leadership within a high-volume, funnel-driven consumer or prosumer business.

    • Experience owning a business line, P&L, or meaningful commercial outcomes such as revenue, contribution, growth, conversion, or unit economics.

    • Deep understanding of B2C customer acquisition, including paid and organic channels, conversion optimization, lifecycle marketing, and customer journey performance

    • Comfort operating in a highly accountable, data-driven environment where performance is measured against clear outcomes

    • Experience owning or materially shaping the customer or product experience after acquisition, with demonstrated improvement in engagement, retention, completion, or another measurable customer outcome     Preferred: experience with regulated/accredited or state-approved curriculum and multi-state compliance.
    • Strong strategic judgment with the ability to move between high-level business strategy and hands-on performance management

Prefferred

    ·  Experience in EdTech, professional education, test preparation, credentialing, certification, or training

    ·  Experience working in a private equity-backed or high-accountability environment

    ·  Exposure to regulated, accredited, or state-approved education programs

    ·  Experience leveraging AI and automation to improve marketing, product development, or customer experience

    ·  Experience in the real estate, licensing, or professional credentialing industries
