The Senior Director, Information Systems is a senior technology leader responsible for providing executive oversight of Telix’s enterprise application landscape, alongside day-to-day executive oversight across global IT functions, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, disciplined execution, and strong alignment between business priorities and technology outcomes. The Senior Director of Information Systems is a key escalation point, decision-maker, and delegate for the CIO, while driving consistency, maturity, and performance across the global IT organization

Key Accountabilities:

  • Act as the delegate for the Global CIO as required, including participation in executive forums, governance committees, audits, and senior stakeholder engagements.
  • Develop and execute the information Technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and deliver application road maps for enterprise systems.
  • Provide leadership across global IT teams to ensure consistent execution of strategy, standards, and operating models.
  • Lead and govern major enterprise applications (e.g. ERP, CRM, clinical system, global platform upgrades).
  • Support portfolio governance, sequencing, and dependency management across the enterprise landscape.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Own and deliver risk management plans for enterprise applications.
  • Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Negotiate and maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers.

Education and Experience:

  • Senior leadership experience in enterprise IT roles (e.g. Deputy CIO, Senior Director IT, Head of Enterprise Applications).
  • Demonstrated ownership of enterprise application portfolios in complex, global organisations.
  • Strong background in business relationship management at executive and senior leadership levels.
  • Proven ability to operate in regulated environments.
  • Experience leading globally distributed teams and vendor ecosystems.
  • Strong financial, governance, and delivery management capability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 10+ years in IT leadership roles with progressive responsibility.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
