What We Need: 

The Senior Director, Network will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Equip Vendor Network Management department, reporting directly to the EVP, Equip. This role is responsible for shaping and executing the vision for network growth, vendor partnerships, and operational excellence across the DME, SNF, and Hospice verticals. You will drive innovation, optimize network performance, and ensure Synapse Health remains the partner of choice for post-acute providers nationwide.

What You Will Do: 

  • Strategic Leadership: Set and execute the vision for network expansion, vendor partnerships, and operational excellence in the Equip business line.
  • Executive Collaboration: Partner with C-suite and senior leaders across Operations, Implementation, Finance, Growth, and Technology to align network strategy with organizational goals.
  • Network Growth: Oversee onboarding and integration of new DME vendors, ensuring network adequacy and quality for SNF and Hospice partners.
  • Performance Management: Develop and monitor KPIs, scorecards, and vendor performance standards; drive continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to inform strategy and optimize vendor relationships.
  • Financial Oversight: Lead budgeting, pricing strategy, and financial operations for vendor accounts payable, receivable, and billing.
  • Product & Technology Partnership: Direct cross-functional teams in product development, technology enhancements, and quality assurance for the Equip platform.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, develop, and inspire a high-performing team; set goals, manage incentives, and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Synapse Health at industry events, community functions, and with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Innovation & Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, reimbursement models, and strategic partnerships to drive growth.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and best practices for service delivery and vendor management.
  • Other Duties: Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned.

What You Have:

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, DME, or post-acute network management.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling vendor networks, driving operational excellence, and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Deep knowledge of DME management, fulfillment, SLAs, claims processing, and medical coding/billing.
  • Experience with commercial, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and benefits authorization.
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and build relationships at the executive level.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and enterprise software; ability to quickly learn new systems

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $161,000 to $202,000 annually. This range reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, internal equity, and prevailing market conditions. Compensation discussions are encouraged throughout the hiring process.
