Clarivate is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director of Product Management to lead the evolution of our AI-powered library discovery platforms, including Primo and Summon. These products connect millions of users worldwide with trusted academic content, and now we’re taking them to the next level—integrating advanced AI capabilities and natural language search experiences. 

In this role, you’ll drive the development and growth of Clarivate’s discovery solutions, shaping the future of how students and researchers find and explore knowledge. You’ll lead a cross-functional team of six, guiding innovation and bringing discovery to the next level using cutting-edge AI technologies. You’ll also collaborate closely with product, engineering, and design teams across Clarivate’s software division to ensure seamless integration with our broader research ecosystem. You’ll report to the VP of Product Management.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments   

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, or commensurate industry experience  

  • 10+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS or Digital 

  • 2+years managing a team  

It would be great if you also had . . .   

  • Professional experience in a library setting. 

  • MBA. 

What will you be doing in this role?  

  • Leadership and People Management.

  • Support the product leadership in envisioning future versions of the product organization  

  • Communicate clearly and effectively, in writing or when presenting, to large and internal and external high-stakes audiences, including segment leadership. Effectively influence the priorities of other teams.  

  • Responsible for hiring, retention, and improving the strength and capability of the product management team with each hire:   Business Strategy:

  • Understand and investigate the commercial levers that affect your area of responsibility. Define metrics for your group/teams to ensure business impact. Product strategy: Create/clarify product strategy within ambiguous areas with limited guidance.  

  • Create relationships and trust with a broad range of senior stakeholders across the business (PMs, managers, and cross-functional leaders). Execution and Impact: Determine priorities when there are competing strategic asks

Primo by Clarivate is a library discovery platform that gives students and researchers a single, intuitive search experience across print, electronic, and digital collections. It connects users to trusted academic resources and uses AI-powered tools to enhance discovery and access. 

Summon by Clarivate is a library discovery service that provides a simple, unified search across a library’s collections and trusted academic resources. It delivers fast, relevant results and helps students and researchers easily find and access the information they need.

About the Team 

Our team of Product Managers and Product Owners is at the heart of driving innovation and delivering exceptional solutions. They work collaboratively to define the product's vision, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business goals. Acting as a bridge between cross-functional teams, they work closely with development teams to translate ideas into actionable requirements and guide the product development lifecycle. Simultaneously, they collaborate with marketing and sales teams to position the product effectively, communicate its value, and support go-to-market strategies. Together, this team ensures that customer needs are met, technical feasibility is maintained, and market opportunities are maximized, delivering impactful and successful products. 

  

Hours of Work / More important information for you: 

Our base is in the Jerusalem, Israel office, working in a hybrid model.  This is a full-time position.
