Job Summary:
The Senior Director, Sales provides high-level leadership and vision to high-performing sales organizations, driving overarching revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term financial objectives. This role involves the execution of comprehensive sales strategies across enterprise business segments, ensuring strict alignment with corporate goals, economic shifts, and emerging market trends. The Senior Director fosters critical high-value external partnerships and internal cross-functional alliances to aggressively expand market share and optimize organizational sales performance. 

What you'll do:

  • Formulate and execute multi-year sales strategies and fiscal plans to exceed revenue targets and accelerate market penetration.

  • Lead, inspire, and scale a multi-tiered sales team, fostering professional development, advanced pipeline discipline, and elite account acquisition.

  • Establish and monitor KPIs and predictive sales metrics to ensure accountability and provide strategic data insights to executive leadership.

  • Cultivate and secure strategic alliances with institutional partners and major accounts to solidify market position.

  • Lead by example by closing major accounts and major partnerships alongside the team.

  • Spearheads the modernization of sales processes and tools to improve efficiency, scale conversion rates, and lower acquisition costs.

  • Translate industry trends, competitor analysis, and merchant feedback into agile commercial strategies for competitive advantage.

  • Partner with executive leaders across departments (Marketing, Product, Engineering, Underwriting, Risk, Finance) to ensure unified support and resource alignment for commercial initiatives.

What we need from you:

  • High school or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred

  • Experience in a high-growth commercial or sales-driven environment 

  • Progressive executive sales leadership experience explicitly within the payment processing, merchant services, embedded finance, or financial technology 

  • Verifiable history of repeatedly meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar sales quotas and architecting successful, scalable sales divisions. 

  • Experience leading a team of sales hunters
