The Senior Education Consultant is responsible for providing expert professional development and support to customers, overseeing and addressing their instructional technology needs related to their use of educational technology tools. This position will provide accurate training before and after the point of sale, ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Senior Education Consultant, you will be a tech-savvy professional, able to explain technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience. You will also be results-driven and aspire to achieve specific goals. Ultimately, you will be able to provide technical, product, and business knowledge to support the sales process and strengthen customer relationships. This role will be pivotal in scoping, managing, and supporting delivery of customized educational technology engagements for customers while helping to manage the customer technical needs through the entire project lifecycle.
What you will do
* Provide instructional support and training for customers on how to use products effectively
* Discover and identify customer requirements and build custom engagements leveraging the best of services and products
* Address all product-related queries in a timely and efficient manner
* Stay current on educational technology changes and trends
* Invest in learning effective training methods and delivery modalities
* Support the project needs from development to implementation
* Provide developers with customers; feedback to help identify potential new features or products
* Analyze customers; needs and suggest upgrades or additional features to meet their requirements
* Work with the company to establish and evaluate best practices
* Accurately track and support custom engagements over extended periods of time
* Engage with customers with integrity and professionalism, working to build value in the relationship
* Work to support customers as needed if escalated from the support team
* Deliver on all Service Delivery products as needed or applicable
What we expect of you
* Bachelor's degree and 5+ years experience in K12 school districts and 2+ years of experience in developing and implementing professional development. Or, 9+ years experience in K12 school districts and 2+ years of experience in developing and implementing professional development
* An ability to balance and plan the short-term and long-term actions of the team
* Exceptional customer service orientation
* Strong documentation skills
* Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-workstream programs on time, within budget, and meeting business objectives
* Convey technical information and recommendations clearly and concisely
* Create engaging presentations
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Experience working with State level organizations (Departments of Education or Education agencies), a plus.
* Familiarity with project management tools like Monday/Jira, a plus. Pay range: $91,900 - $110,000 depending on experience and skill set Annual bonus target of 5% subject to terms and conditions of plan Benefits overview: https://cdw.benefit-info.com/ Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentials
