About the role
- We are seeking Senior Level Electrical Engineer with degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
What you'll do
- Own electrical designs from concept through production — spanning power, motor control, sensing, communication, and mixed-signal electronics for robotics platform.
- Generate electrical schematics / layouts and bring-up power, digital and mixed-signal printed circuit board assemblies, including but not limited to, main logic boards (MLBs), control boards, test and characterization boards (SoCs, FPGAs, analog front ends, testing ASICs, multi-chip packages), interface boards for high-speed video and networking connections to NVIDIA Jetson and Thor platforms.
- Collaborate across diverse teams to resolve cross-functional issues including those related to architecture (performance, power consumption, thermal behavior), production (quality, failure analysis, manufacturing, cost), compliance (safety, reliability, regulatory, environmental) and overall system integration
- Design for volume manufacturing and support factory engineers from prototyping to product launch.
- Develop engineering test plans and methodologies for in-circuit and functional testing.
- Validate power and signal integrity in laboratory settings, ensuring alignment with design specifications, identify design issues and propose corrective actions.
- Ability to support multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion of design and validation tasks.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience
- Proficiency with Altium 365, Cadence Orcad, Allegro, PLM tools such as Arena and Component Management database
- Recognized expert across the electrical engineering domain with deep specialization in critical areas involving SoCs, camera, sensors, power/energy management architectures and high-speed interfaces such as USB 3.1 Gen 2, LPDDR4/4x, MIPI, 10G/25G Ethernet and PCIe Gen 2/3
- Drive cost optimization, design for test, design for manufacturability, and endurance maximization
- Hands-on with PCB layout of power distribution network (PDN), analog and digital signals accounting for system-level timing, loss budget including silicon, package and board impairments
- Experience with lab measurements, debugging, and SI correlations using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, VNA and TDR
- Fluent in English communication, able to collaborate with teammates in different time zones
- Ability to travel internationally as needed
- Maintain company confidential information are a must
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree with more experience is highly desired
- Familiarity with Ansys SIwave, Ansys HFSS, Cadence Sigrity, and Keysight ADS.
- Robotics, mobile platforms, or autonomous systems experience
- Sensor integration (cameras, solid-state LiDAR, IMU)
- Embedded firmware / hardware integration experience (C/C++, Python)
- Functional safety design experience (ISO 26262, IEC 61508)
- Proactive member of the multi-disciplinary team, takes ownership of technical challenges and work with others to resolve issues
- Data analysis experience such as JMPs is a plus; Excel is OK.
Benefits (subject to location and local regulations)
- Competitive salary and equity
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
