About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Email Marketing Project Manager to join our team. As the Senior Email Marketing Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our client’s email and push marketing campaigns, ensuring their successful execution, and delivering exceptional client services. You will work closely with the client’s team, internal teams, and third-party vendors to achieve the desired goals and objectives of the client’s email and push marketing initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of Email Service Providers (ESPs), client services, project management principles, and team leadership.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Email Marketing Campaign Management:
  • Help define the customer communication strategy and CRM roadmap to achieve ambitious acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation goals.
  • Build, execute, optimize, and monitor ad-hoc campaigns and customer journeys across email and push (scaling to additional channels in future), across ESPs, ensuring flawless execution and timely delivery. 
  • Manage the end-to-end process of email marketing campaigns, including planning, gathering assets, project management, testing, deployment, and analysis.

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Understand the client’s business needs, and provide strategic guidance on email and push marketing initiatives.
  • Build strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction through effective communication, regular updates, and delivering high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish clear goals and deliverables.

  • ESP Expertise and Technical Proficiency:
  • Demonstrate expertise in various Email Service Providers (ESPs) such as Iterable, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or SendGrid.
  • Possess a deep understanding of ESP functionalities, including list management, segmentation, automation, personalization, A/B testing, and analytics.
  • Execute thoughtful experimentation to unlock high-impact campaigns, and leverage automation to maximize engagement & retention throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to email marketing and ESPs.

  • Project Management and Team Leadership:
  • Develop project plans, timelines, ensuring project prioritization and team coordination.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Work closely with several client teams, including engineering, design, legal, finance, business, and regional teams, bringing ideas to life that spearhead product adoption and drive usage

Job Specifications & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • 4+ years working in email marketing, with a focus on project management, client services, and team leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of Email Service Providers (ESPs) and their functionalities Experience setting up push and SMS campaigns Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with client teams, internal teams, and external vendors.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and optimize email marketing performance.
  • Proficiency in email marketing tools, SQL, HTML/CSS, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM Act.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the cryptocurrency industry is preferred.
