Senior Platform Engineer responsible for architecting, deploying, and operating Kubernetes and cloud platforms (primarily Azure), building IaC with Terraform, designing CI/CD pipelines, leading cloud migrations and modernization, automating containerized deployments, and ensuring secure, reliable infrastructure for regulated enterprise clients.
As a Senior Platform Engineer at BSC Analytics, you'll be part of a high-performing squad of four to five engineers tackling complex platform challenges for large-scale, highly regulated enterprises. Our work spans cloud migrations, modernization programs, Kubernetes platforms, and DevOps transformations across both Azure and AWS — which means no two engagements look exactly alike. If you thrive on learning, moving fast, and solving real-world problems across a mix of environments — both modern and legacy — this role is for you. Every week brings new opportunities to sharpen your technical skills, collaborate with top engineers, and grow your reputation as a trusted expert. You'll work on platforms that power mission-critical systems — all within a flexible, remote-first culture that values deep expertise, autonomy, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with fellow engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to design, build, and support robust platform solutions
- Architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS and/or Azure
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines that deliver high-quality code at speed
- Build automated infrastructure with Terraform and other IaC tools
- Lead cloud migration and modernization efforts, including re-platforming legacy workloads (Java, .NET, ETL, databases) to modern cloud-native services
- Automate scaling, deployment, and management of containerized applications
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and fine-tune system performance to ensure reliability, cost-effectiveness, and resilience
- Implement proactive monitoring solutions that detect and prevent outages
- Translate complex client requirements into scalable, automated solutions
- Contribute to team knowledge-sharing, peer reviews, runbooks, and process improvement efforts
- Support and maintain secure, compliant, and resilient infrastructure for critical systems
