Machinify is seeking a visionary, hands-on and technically deep Engineer Manager to lead our core product team! Our teams develops end-to-end AI system services to automate and bring efficiency into healthcare services. we leverage the latest advances in AI—including data mining, generative AI, and AI agents—to build the next generation of healthcare claims and payment automation products. The ideal candidate has a range of skills across systems and tech stack migrations, backend services development, and a combination of technical and people leadership. What You’ll Do:

• Lead the development and production releases of robust web application systems and intuitive solutions for our Right Payer Solutions product lines.

• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality development efforts; monitor and adjust plans to meet objectives

• Oversee and guide development efforts leveraging C#.NET, SQL Server, Angular, and future development in Rust, Java, or Scala to ensure adherence to best practices and architectural standards

• Collaborate effectively with data science and machine learning engineering teams to integrate models and analytics into production systems

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operations and prioritize technology solutions

• Champion business process automation and continuous improvement

• Foster strategic relationships with senior stakeholders

• Apply retrospective insights to improve team performance and delivery velocity

• Build self-sufficient Agile teams and support individual development through targeted growth plans

• Perform code reviews from team to determine employee productivity

What You'll Bring:

• 3+ years of combined technical leadership and engineering management experience of high-performing teams

• 8+ years of production application development, backend services experience, and developing API's/micro-services at scale

• Proficiency with C#.NET, SQL Server, and Angular, including the ability to evaluate technical solutions and mentor team members in these technologies

• Proficiency in one or more backend languages: Python, Rust, Java, or Go.

• Experience working alongside data science or machine learning engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, including deployment and scalability best practices

• Proven project management skills within Agile and Scrum environments

• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication abilities

• Ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders

• Strong facilitation, time management, and prioritization skills

• Adaptability in fast-paced and evolving environments

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field

The salary for this position is based on an array of factors unique to each candidate: Such as years and depth of experience, set skills, certifications, etc. The base salary range is 220k +/- . We are hiring for different levels, and our Recruiting team will let you know if you qualify for a different role/range. Salary is one component of the total compensation package, which includes meaningful equity, excellent healthcare, flexible time off, and other benefits and perks.
