We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineer to lead the development, optimization, and integration of backend systems supporting our Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines, ETL processes, and telephony integrations, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and seamless user experience. This role requires close collaboration with business and technical teams to deliver mission-critical solutions supporting our Salesforce ecosystem.
We can only consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Concord, CA office.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain backend integrations, data pipelines, and ETL processes supporting Salesforce.
Implement and optimize telephony integrations (Vonage or equivalent) for Salesforce, ensuring reliability and data accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, maintaining high availability and SLA compliance.
Lead system upgrades, migrations, and release management for backend and integration components.
Ensure data integrity, quality, and operational reliability across connected systems.
Document technical designs, standards, and integration workflows for team knowledge sharing.
Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in backend development and integration.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in backend engineering, ETL development, or data integration roles.
Strong expertise in SQL, SSIS, ActiveBatch, or comparable ETL and data pipeline technologies.
Experience with telephony systems integration (e.g., Vonage, CTI) into Salesforce.
Familiarity with Salesforce data architecture, APIs, and integration patterns.
Proven track record in production system monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring SLA compliance.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes is a plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field preferred.
Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $163,000-$190,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
