We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team and take ownership of our engineering efforts. As a Senior Engineer, you will lead development initiatives, design scalable solutions, and contribute across the stack to build and maintain our digital-first coaching platform. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the development of modern, scalable, and distributed applications.
  • Architect and implement new features, ensuring best practices in coding and system design.
  • Manage API development, database performance, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure security and compliance (SOC 2) while optimizing system reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and operations.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and contribute to technical strategy.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Expertise in PHP (Laravel), JavaScript (Vue.js, Quasar), MySQL, MongoDB.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, WordPress, AWS, Docker, Apache, Nginx, CentOS.
  • Knowledge of mobile development (Objective-C, Java, Apache Cordova) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and SOC 2 compliance.
  • Must be a U.S.-based citizen (required for this role).
