The Senior Epic Report Developer will design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Epic reporting tools, focusing on healthcare analytics to improve operations and patient care.

Superlanet is looking for a Senior Epic Report Developer for a healthcare organization in San Diego, CA. This is s direct-hire, part-time opportunity that will remain predominantly remote. This role is ideal for a seasoned Epic reporting professional looking for reduced hours while still contributing to a high-impact healthcare initiative to improve hospital operations, patient flow, and transitions of care. The position may expand to a full-time opportunity as the program evolves.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts using Epic and enterprise reporting tools
- Utilize Epic reporting tools including:
- Cogito (REQUIRED)
- Reporting Workbench (RWB)
- Radar Dashboards
- SlicerDicer
- Clarity (SQL-based reporting)
- Caboodle (enterprise data warehouse)
- Cogito (REQUIRED)
- Build scalable reporting solutions aligned to clinical, operational, and financial KPIs
- Leverage Tableau or other visualization tools (as applicable) for advanced analytics and dashboarding
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in Epic reporting and healthcare analytics (Level 3–4 equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with Epic tools: Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, Cogito, Clarity, and Caboodle
- Strong SQL skills with experience writing and optimizing complex queries
- Experience translating business and clinical requirements into reporting solutions
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, particularly in hospital operations
- Epic certification(s) in Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, or Cogito strongly preferred
- Experience supporting initiatives related to patient flow, throughput, or care coordination
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools
- Epic certification(s) in relevant reporting tools (Clarity, Caboodle, or RWB)
- Experience with data governance, reporting standards, and enterprise analytics environments
- Experience working with cross-functional leadership and executive stakeholders
Benefits
$70.00 - $75.00/hr
