TechTorch | U.S. Remote | Contract (2 Months)
This is an initial 2-month contract engagement supporting a strategic Salesforce and AI transformation initiative, with the opportunity to extend based on project success and business needs.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Experience Designer / Senior Experience Engineer to lead the design and evolution of next-generation seller experiences within a highly customized Salesforce ecosystem. This individual will own the end-to-end design of sales workflows today—creating high-fidelity experiences in Salesforce Lightning—while helping shape the future of AI-enabled selling through conversational agents, predictive workflows, and intelligent automation.
This role combines UX design, sales technology, and AI innovation. The ideal candidate has exceptional design craft with technical fluency, enabling them to collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, sales leaders, and business stakeholders to deliver intuitive, scalable, and measurable experiences.
Success in this role requires comfort operating in fast-moving enterprise environments, navigating ambiguity, influencing cross-functional teams, and delivering polished solutions for complex business challenges.
TechTorch | U.S. Remote | Full-time
Core Responsibilities
Design and iterate high-fidelity mockups and prototypes for seller experiences within Salesforce UX (Lightning Experience, components, and flows).
Collaborate on the integration of Marketing Cloud, Outreach, Lead Genius, and future AI capabilities (e.g., Einstein/Agentforce-style predictive scoring, email drafting, lead qualification agents, and conversation intelligence).
Ensure designs support seller workflows across inside sales and field sales, including prospecting, personalization, sequencing, qualification, and handoffs—focusing on speed, low friction, and measurable adoption.
Bridge design and implementation by providing detailed specifications, ensuring SLDS compliance, and documenting edge cases.
Design for the future of AI-enabled experiences, including agentic workflows, dynamic UIs, human-AI collaboration, and data-driven personalization.
Ideal Experience & Background (5–8+ years)
Salesforce Expertise: Strong hands-on with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS), Lightning components, custom UX configurations, and Experience Cloud/ Lightning pages. Familiarity with Marketing Cloud for journey orchestration and sales enablement tools.
B2B Sales / Seller Experience: Proven work on sales tech stacks, ideally BDR/SDR tools, CRM customizations, or revenue workflows. Experience with Outreach or similar sequencing platforms is a big plus.
AI/CX Forward-Looking: Exposure to integrating AI into UX (e.g., generative elements, predictive interfaces, agentic AI like Agentforce). Comfort designing AI Models and using AI tools in the design process (Figma AI, etc.).
Hybrid Technical Strength: Ability to prototype in code (HTML/CSS/JS, Lightning Web Components basics) or collaborate tightly with engineers.
Consulting/Enterprise Track Record: Consulting project experience is ideal for structured processes, stakeholder management, and high-polish deliverables.
Education: Bachelor's in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Salesforce UX Designer certification or Trailhead badges are strongly preferred.
Key Skills & Competencies
Design Mastery: End-to-end UX/UI (research → wireframes → high-fid prototypes → specs). Expert in Figma (or equivalents), SLDS, design systems, accessibility, and responsive patterns.
BDR Workflow Insight: Understanding of sales motions—prospecting pain points, multi-channel engagement, data overload vs. signal prioritization.
AI Fluency: Ability to design intuitive human-AI interfaces (e.g., where agents suggest next-best actions or auto-populate fields without breaking flow).
Collaboration & Influence: Strong in cross-functional teams (PMs, engineers, executive stakeholders). Ability to evangelize designs, run workshops, and iterate under deadlines.
Tools: Figma, SLDS, Salesforce tools, basic prototyping (e.g., Principle or code), analytics for validation.
Soft Skills: Adaptability to evolving AI requirements, business acumen for ROI-focused designs, communication for non-technical stakeholders.
