As we expand our footprint and scale operations, we are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to lead the finance and accounting functions for our dynamic and fast-growing organization

Role Overview: The Senior Financial Accountant will oversee the company's financial reporting, compliance, and operational finance activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support strategic decision-making. This position is critical in establishing strong internal controls, driving financial process improvements, and aligning finance operations with Agile Robots' strategic vision. You will partner with leadership and cross-functional teams, bridging technology and finance in a cutting-edge robotics environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial close processes
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support business growth
  • Develop and maintain cost accounting systems that reflect the complexities of robotics manufacturing and R&D
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate external audits and tax filings with advisors
  • Drive finance system improvements and automation initiatives
  • Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and financial risk mitigation
  • Support cross-functional projects and provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial management roles, preferably within technology, manufacturing, or robotics industries
  • Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, cost accounting, and financial reporting
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software implementations
  • Proven leadership capabilities and experience managing finance teams
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Experience in compliance, internal controls, and audit coordination
  • Familiarity with R&D accounting, project cost tracking, and capex management is a plus
