General Motors LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join the GM Energy team. This role will be instrumental in providing financial analysis and strategic insights to support the growth and profitability of GM Energy's initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate financial performance of GM Energy with regard to pricing and incentive goals, budgets and forecasts
- Present incentive scenarios at the monthly Pricing and Incentive Approval (PIA) meeting with senior leadership including GM Energy's Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Financial Officer and key business partners
- Obtain strategic alignment on GM Energy's go-to-market strategies while achieving profitability targets
- Support creation of long-term financial objectives that align with the business partner's plan for growth and expansion
- Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss, and forecast vs. budget
- Maintain outstanding relationships with business partners, especially Sales teams
- Lead by example displaying GM behaviors, commitment to personal development and dedication to crafting a positive Workplace of Choice culture
- Provide understanding of the bigger picture and how projects relates to operational strategy / Enterprise goals
- Anticipate partner needs (proactive vs. reactive)
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, financial planning, or investment banking
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling
- Proven commercial acumen with the ability to assess business opportunities and market dynamics
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Location: Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the - Global HQ Warren MI three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business]
