Position Overview:

Tract is in search of a Sr Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you'll be reporting to the SVP of Financial Planning & Analysis and will serve as a key finance liaison across various functional departments within Tract.  You will be partnering with multiple high-performing, cross-functional teams to support the Company’s financial and strategic objectives.  This position plays an integral role in budget development, cashflow forecasting and performance measurement.  The right candidate is an inquisitive, data-driven individual who can drive efficiency and achieve objectives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain processes and financial models to support the budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analytic requirements of the Business
  • Support the capital management process through regular budgeting and continuous forecasting of multiple capital projects
  • Build partnerships with functional managers across multiple disciplines to understand business drivers, trends, opportunities and risks
  • Enforce expense policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Company expectations
  • Review and approve various contracts, purchase orders and invoices
  • Prepare financial updates and reports for the Executive team and key business partners on singular project or consolidated levels
  • Collect, organize, analyze and communicate spend patterns, key metrics and business performance
  • Drive continuous improvement, efficiencies, standardization and automation around current financial processes
  • Special projects, ad hoc financial reporting and analysis

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting or related field)
  • 2+ years of GAAP and/or financial statements experience
  • 5+  years’ experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis & reporting
  • Highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills to interact and work with multiple levels and functions within the Company
  • Capable of extracting and communicating data with relevant, consumable and actionable takeaways
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal oversight
  • Results-oriented with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and timelines
  • Strong operational focus to drive process and execution in a scalable and repeatable way
  • Intellectually curious with a problem-solving orientation
  • High ethical standards & integrity

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with capital project budgeting, forecasting and billing
  • Experience or knowledge within the Construction and/or Energy industry

 

Expected Salary Range:

$100,000 - $120,000 + annual bonus potential
