💸 Competitive Salary in USD  |  🌍 100% Remote  |  📊 Financial Data Integrity & Job Costing  |  🏠 Home Services & Trades Industry

Veta Virtual is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for one of our clients — a multi-brand home services company spanning residential garage doors, commercial dock and door, and high-end outdoor living. Roughly 90% of their financial infrastructure is already in place. They need one person to own the last 10% and keep it airtight permanently. This is not a report-running role — you'll get into every part of the business, find where the numbers break, and fix it. You'll work directly with ownership as the connective tissue between accounting, operations, and sales.

🔑 Your Role:

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Tracing every expense to the correct job, department, and category — eliminating unassigned or miscoded spend entirely.
  • Owning purchase order accuracy from issue through receipt and reconciliation, and supporting revenue, COGS, and gross profit accuracy by brand, department, and job alongside the bookkeeping team.
  • Reconciling data across the field service platform, QuickBooks, and CRM — catching breaks before they reach a P&L.
  • Producing commission reports that are accurate, on time, and defensible when a technician disputes a number.
  • Supporting budgets and expense planning across multiple brands and entities.
  • Building and maintaining department-level performance dashboards, KPI tracking, and a consistent reporting cadence — including weekly and monthly packages for ownership.
  • Owning CRM data hygiene — consistent tag structures across all brands, duplicate detection and merges, and clean pipeline and job-status data that can be reported on without caveats.
  • Writing the data standards that keep information clean as the company adds locations and headcount.
  • Flagging margin erosion, cost creep, pricing problems, and outlier jobs before they compound — investigating variances and bringing answers, not just questions.

✅ What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years in accounting, financial analysis, FP&A, or business operations — ideally with experience touching both the general ledger and the operational systems feeding it.
  • Genuine job costing experience — you understand exactly why an expense hitting the wrong job destroys gross margin reporting.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills — pivot tables, lookups, nested logic, and clean model structure. This will be tested before hiring.
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks, including class and location tracking in a multi-entity environment.
  • Experience with a CRM or field service management platform, and comfort learning new systems quickly.
  • Strong written and spoken English — you'll be on weekly video calls with U.S. staff and writing documentation others must follow.
  • Obsessive attention to detail, paired with the judgment to know which discrepancies actually matter.
  • Ability to raise problems clearly and directly with people who don't report to you.
  • Self-directed — you'll inherit an environment that's mostly built and be trusted to finish it.
  • Availability to overlap with U.S. Eastern business hours for daily coordination.
  • Bonus: SQL experience, or prior work supporting a U.S.-based trades, construction, or home services company.
  • To be considered for this role, you must be currently based in Latin America (LATAM) or Europe.

💼 What We Offer:

  • 💸 Competitive salary in USD — paid consistently every month.
  • 🌴 10 paid vacation days per year plus all U.S. federal holidays.
  • 💻 100% remote — work from anywhere in LATAM or Europe with a professional home setup.
  • 📈 Direct access to ownership — a weekly video call with the owner, and real influence over the standards the company runs on going forward.
  • 🤝 A collaborative culture through Veta Virtual and our client where your judgment and follow-through are trusted from day one.
