You are comfortable gathering and organizing large amounts of data into cohesive stories to help provide actionable business insights. 

Your Day

This role is in the Consumer Finance organization predominately supporting our Mail brand. 

You will focus mostly on cost planning with an opportunity for Revenue exposure as well as financial analysis for both the Mail and Consumer FP&A leadership teams alongside supporting the broader Consumer FP&A group. You will analyze the P&L for forecasting and budget cycles alongside ad hoc analysis, and deliver against our regular finance operating cadence (daily and weekly pacing, monthly close and roughly quarterly annual forecasts). You will partner with the Mail team to help grow our business, surface new insights and work on projects to improve, automate and simplify finance processes.  

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Development of comprehensive financial forecasts, budgets and long term financial plan 

  • Analyze financial performance against key business metrics providing actionable insights

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness

  • Partner with the CTO Corporate FP&A and Consumer Platforms FP&A team as a key Mail partner on Digital Transformation and migration to Google Cloud

  • Support forecasting and horizontal cost allocation efforts within central Home Ecosystem teams

  • Robust understanding of Mail, its strategic direction and how they manifest in the financials

  • Support on new partnership opportunities for Mail

  • Loading forecasts and budgets into financial and accounting systems to enable reportability and access for all key partners

  • Proactive communication of trends, key metrics and business indicators to finance leadership


You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field

  • 2-4 years of related finance experience, Ideally including media industry experience

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; attention to detail; problem solving abilities

  • Experience in Excel and reporting

  • Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment that is fast-paced and highly dynamic

  • Strong desire to learn, improve and 

  • Passion for technology, media and drive for continuous improvement

Some Experiences And Skills That May Be Helpful For You

  • Experience with Programmatic Advertising

  • Prior experience with Subscription Based Models, particularly in a Direct to Consumer environment and an understanding of a User’s Life Cycle from acquisition (working with Growth Marketing teams) to assessing lifetime value

  • History of working on a Technology based product, some experience with capitalized labor and cloud cost

The compensation for this position ranges from $72,750.00 - $151,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
