At MissionWired, we help our partners create revolutionary fundraising strategies that advance their mission, change our country, and have a positive impact on the world.

We help our partners tell big, ambitious stories that invite their supporters into communities to raise mission-changing revenue. Our results are unrivaled, having converted more than $4.5 billion in donations to the world’s most trusted philanthropies and groundbreaking campaigns. We do it over email and SMS, in the mail, across social media, everywhere. We don’t think in terms of channels; we’re single-minded in pursuit of your success.

We’re innovative, progress-obsessed, do-gooders who care deeply about social change and continuing to push the limits on what we can accomplish together. We’ve brought strategies to life for nonprofit organizations working around the world, including Sandy Hook Promise, Human Rights Watch, The Humane Society of the U.S., Save the Children, and Friends of the Earth. Over the years, we have worked with various progressive political organizations and believe that each election cycle is an opportunity for us to support organizations across the country and elect Democrats to legislative bodies up and down the ballot.

We’re an equal-opportunity employer and take seriously our commitment to equality and equity. Our efforts to be inclusive and create opportunity don’t end when someone joins us – they begin. We’ve set our sights on changing the world through our work and with our clients, and representation is at the foundation of what we do. We know that diversity of thought and background makes us stronger. That’s why we’re committed to building and maintaining a diverse community.

Every new team member broadens our perspective and allows us to think bigger. We’ll be at our best when people from underrepresented communities and people with a range of perspectives and lived experiences want to come, stay, and push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Overview: At MissionWired, we partner with nonprofits, campaigns, and social change organizations to power mulit-channel fundraising and build movements that change the world. As we continue to scale, our Finance team plays an increasingly critical role: ensuring leaders have the insights they need to plan strategically and steward our resources responsibly.

We’re looking for a Senior Analyst who thrives at the intersection of analytics, strategy, and operational partnership. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to MissionWired’s financial backbone – shaping forecasts, improving models, driving insights, and strengthening decision-making across the organization. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across the company, from client services and operations to product and people, ensuring that financial planning is aligned, accurate, and clear.

If you’re energized by building models, uncovering trends, improving processes, and supporting a mission-driven organization in a high-growth environment, this role will give you incredible scope and impact.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles across the MissionWired platform company, partnering with department leaders to align assumptions and build accurate projections;
  • Assisting with updating and maintaining 3-statement financial models (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow), ensuring reliability, accuracy, and transparency;
  • Perform monthly and quarterly variance analyses; identify operational drivers, develop insights, and communicate recommendations to senior leadership;
  • Preparing a monthly reporting package, including dashboards, KPI analytics, and narratives that translate data into actionable insights for executives and key stakeholders;
  • Supporting the development of board materials and other ad hoc analysis for senior leadership and external stakeholders;
  • Partnering closely with Accounting and cross-functionally during month-end close; gathering inputs, validating data integrity, and supporting reconciliations, ensuring financial data accuracy;
  • Supporting the development and implementation of streamlined FP&A processes as MissionWired continues to scale, while centering DEIB practices;
  • Contributing to M&A activities, including financial modeling, due diligence, and integration planning;
  • Conducting ad-hoc financial analyses to evaluate pricing strategy, profitability of offerings, cost optimization opportunities, and resource allocation; and,
  • Enhancing internal forecasting tools and enabling more dynamic scenario modeling across the organization.

Must-have qualifications:

  • BS in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred;
  • 4–5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or investment banking
  • Proven expertise in advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and building 3-statement models;
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
  • Experience with conducting variance analysis, including identifying key drivers and analyzing operational trends;
  • Solid understanding of accounting operations, including month-end close and revenue/expense recognition;
  • Exceptional communication skills – able to distill complex financial concepts into clear, actionable recommendations;
  • Comfortable navigating a growing and evolving organization, including ambiguity and process development; and,
  • High level of ownership, curiosity, and a proactive approach to solving problems before they surface, all while keeping DEIB principles top of mind.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Experience in professional services, digital agencies, SaaS, or project-based revenue environments.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Sage) or automation tools.
  • Comfortability around supporting leaders with high visibility deliverables (board decks, executive memos, etc.).
