About

As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing firmware for embedded systems.

This role requires a deep understanding of both hardware and software, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

You will be involved in all stages of firmware development from concept to production.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop firmware for embedded systems

  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to define and implement firmware requirements

  • Perform system integration tests to ensure firmware functionality

  • Debug and troubleshoot firmware and hardware issues

  • Document firmware design and development processes

  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in firmware development

  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.

  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).

  • Familiarity with hardware design and documentation.

  • Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot complex systems.

Skills

  • C/C+, Python (debug tools)

  • RTOS

  • Embedded Systems, Hardware Interfacing, Debugging Tools

  • Version Control Systems (e.g., Git)

  • Microcontrollers

  • Communication Protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C)

  • BLE protocol

  • Experience with capacitive sensors and/or sensor fusion is a plus
