About the Company Our client is a fast-growing Y Combinator-backed Voice AI startup transforming sales, support, and customer engagement. With $5M in seed funding and approaching $35M ARR, achieved with just 20 people, they're building the standard for voice automation at scale.
The Role As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll embed directly with enterprise clients to deliver production-ready voice AI solutions end-to-end. You'll be the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving adoption, shaping the platform through field insights, and becoming a go-to expert on building with voice AI and LLM-powered systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full project delivery using a cutting-edge voice agent platform — from prototyping through to production — communicating progress and risks clearly throughout
- Build full-stack integrations (Python, JavaScript) with enterprise tools including CRMs, ERPs, and scheduling systems
- Partner with sales to gather requirements, prototype demos, and present system designs to clients
- Develop deep expertise in voice AI solutions, including LLM prompting strategies and best practices
- Scope projects, resolve blockers, and keep cross-functional teams aligned with concise, effective updates
- Codify reusable patterns into tools or platform components
- Translate field feedback into actionable product and GTM recommendations
Requirements
- 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role — Solutions Engineering, Technical PM, Customer Success/Support Engineering, or founder experience
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proven track record delivering systems in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Production-grade coding ability in Python, JavaScript, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of LLM-powered systems and their UX implications
- Proactive risk management and the ability to maintain momentum under pressure
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $180K – $250K

- Schedule: Full-time, 70 hrs/week (50 onsite + 20 remote, flexible hours)

Interview Process
- Recruiter intro call (15 min)

- Onsite/virtual interviews (2–3 hrs): Communication, Architecture Case, and Problem-Solving rounds
The base pay range for this role is $180,000 – $250,000 per year.
