Fueled is a leading digital strategy, design, and engineering agency. We are a 300+ person team that has designed and built hundreds of digital products and experiences for brands like Google, Apple, The New York Times, ESPN, Victoria’s Secret, MGM Resorts, Albertsons, and CLEAR.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will architect, build, and scale high‑performance, accessible web applications that deliver premium user experiences. You’ll lead end‑to‑end solutions across React, Next.js, and the Node.js stack, using strong typing with TypeScript to design robust data models, state management, and application architecture for complex, business‑oriented interfaces.

You’ll work with headless CMS platforms, implement effective caching, integrate with existing APIs and services, and enable real‑time, reliable functionality at scale. Your work will turn ambitious ideas into maintainable, future‑ready systems that evolve with client needs, raise the bar for quality and performance, and consistently drive measurable outcomes.

Intentionally remote and globally distributed across six continents, our team thrives in a culture that values flexibility, creativity, and cutting-edge technology. Together, we’re shaping the future of digital experiences.

What you will do:
  • Architect and build dynamic, content-rich web experiences that turn marketing funnels into engaged communities. You'll leverage headless CMSs like Sanity or Payload to give our clients and their marketing teams the power to iterate quickly, without sacrificing the bespoke performance and polish we're known for.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of key product features, from concept to deployment and beyond. You won't just code tickets; you'll be a crucial voice in shaping the technical approach, making critical decisions on the headless architecture, and ensuring what we ship is robust, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Elevate the team's velocity and craft by introducing and socializing tools and practices that raise the technical bar. We expect you to proactively identify bottlenecks – whether in our build processes, state management, or CMS content modeling – and implement solutions that make the entire team more effective.
  • Bridge the gap between ambitious creative vision and technical reality, proving that high-quality user experience and developer experience are not mutually exclusive. You'll collaborate directly with designers and strategists to challenge assumptions, explore what's possible, and build solutions that are as elegant under the hood as they are for the end-user.
What you will achieve:
  • From Day 1, you’re shipping a tangible feature for a live client project, building immediate momentum.
  • Within 6 months, you’ll own and deliver a key feature end-to-end and improve a core performance metric by at least 10%.
  • You will enhance team efficiency by creating a reusable component or process that is adopted by your peers.
  • By 12 months, you’ll have spearheaded a significant project phase from concept to launch, on time and to a high standard.
  • Your expertise becomes a multiplier, evidenced by positive client or team feedback on your ability to solve complex challenges.
About you:
  • You think in systems and components, not just pages. You get genuine satisfaction from designing a React architecture or a data schema that is as intuitive for the content editor as it is performant for the end-user.
  • You’re a proactive problem-solver who doesn’t wait for perfect requirements. You thrive on digging into ambiguity, asking "why," and prototyping solutions to complex challenges involving headless architecture, microservices and data flow.
  • You have a strong point of view, held loosely. You can articulate a compelling case for a specific technology or approach (like using Next.js App Router vs. Pages Router) but are equally committed to the team's final decision and its success.
  • You see the "full-stack" as a single, interconnected challenge. You're comfortable crafting a polished, dynamic front-end with Next.js and then diving into the back-end logic, API routes, or CMS configuration that makes it all possible.
  • You are a natural collaborator and translator, able to explain technical constraints to designers and strategic goals to engineers, ensuring the entire multidisciplinary team is building momentum together.
