Description

Acclaim is a voice-first AI customer experience (CX) platform purpose-built for regulated industries including banking, fintech, healthcare, and insurance. It provides enterprises with goal-oriented AI agents that go beyond conversation to deliver agentic solutions that solve end-to-end business problems — orchestrating and executing complete customer workflows from outreach through resolution. Acclaim's solutions transform human-driven CX processes into AI-powered ones that are continuously learning and improving.

About the role

We're hiring a core Golang developer with a quality-first mindset and a passion for software quality and continuous improvement to significantly scale our test automation coverage and build out our tooling infrastructure.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on Golang development experience, writing clean, maintainable, idiomatic code.
  • Strong understanding of Go concurrency, including building with goroutines, channels, and synchronization primitives, as well as reasoning about race conditions, deadlocks, and graceful shutdowns.
  • Solid grasp of modern Go idioms, including context.Context, generics, proper error handling, and structured logging.
  • Experience with gRPC, particularly streaming RPCs.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP, UDP, HTTP/2, and TLS.
  • Strong testing expertise, including table-driven tests, the race detector, fuzzing, and deterministic testing of concurrent code (testing/synctest).
  • Performance-oriented mindset. A key goal of the test suite is to serve as a load generator capable of driving a large number of concurrent streams from a single instance, so the ability to write efficient, low-overhead Go code that performs reliably under heavy load is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with profiling and performance tuning using pprof, benchmarks, and the execution tracer—not just familiarity with the concepts.
  • Familiarity with Prometheus metrics and instrumentation.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in day-to-day software development.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing and maintaining public SDKs or libraries, including Go modules, semantic versioning, and backward compatibility.
  • Experience with audio stream processing.
  • Familiarity with SIP and telephony systems.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end automated tests using the existing Go-based framework
  • Extend and improve the internal test automation framework
  • Automate load testing and validation pipelines
  • Take ownership of the Go SDK—the core library used by internal teams and customers—and its supporting ecosystem, including test suites, load-testing frameworks, health checks, and developer tooling.
  • In the longer term - provide automation tooling (e2e tests framework too) that can be used directly by backend developers, managers, QA, etc
  • Ultimately automate everything related to testing - turning manual and ad-hoc QA work (functional, load, healthchecks, etc) into automated, CI/CD-integrated coverage
  • Solve complex engineering problems, perform deep root-cause analysis, and confidently navigate and debug unfamiliar code.
What we offer
  • The team has built award-winning AI products for tech corporations — devices, voice assistants, products that are actually in the world
  • Cutting-edge tech stack: Speech Technologies, NLP, Generative AI (LLMs, diffusion models), voice-first agentic architecture with privacy-first and on-premises deployment
  • High engineering bar and real ownership — the team cares about what actually works in production, not what looks good in a demo, and you'll see the impact of your work directly
  • Fast career progression — a senior-heavy team and a high volume of real problems means you grow faster than you would anywhere else
  • Startup pace with enterprise stability — real clients, real revenue, no bureaucracy
  • Fully remote across Europe
  • 21 vacation days + public holidays + 5 sick days
  • Private English lessons via Preply
