Did you know that 50M+ people in the US drive a personal car for work - and qualify for an average tax deduction of $6,500? But to get it, you have to keep a log of every single drive you take (and keep it for 5 years in case you’re audited!).

At MileIQ, we’re delivering mileage tracking for the modern workforce. We’re the category creator and global leader in mileage tracking, with 1M+ active users, 80B+ miles logged, and $10B+ in value.

We are looking for a Senior Growth Product Manager to drive the PLG strategy across our Individual and Teams products at MileIQ. This role will lead the Growth & Monetization team, which is responsible for driving high-impact growth initiatives across Acquisition, Activation, Pricing & Packaging, and Revenue Expansion. You will work closely with Product Design, Product Marketing, Engineering, QA, Data, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance to identify core problems/opportunities limiting growth, prioritize thoughtful experiments to quickly validate hypotheses, and launch projects that drive step-function impact for the business and users alike.

This position is part of the Product Management team, reporting to our Head of Product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deeply understand customer pain points and use qualitative and quantitative data to identify significant growth opportunities.
  • Define and drive a PLG (Product-Led Growth) strategy by optimizing free-to-paid conversion funnels, onboarding experiences, and monetization levers.
  • Develop and communicate a vision and strategic roadmap that aligns with company objectives and clearly articulates the impact on customers and business goals.
  • Synthesize competitive and industry insights to position MileIQ effectively within the market and identify opportunities for differentiation, in collaboration with Product Marketing.
  • Own the experiment and product development lifecycle from customer research, data analysis, hypothesis generation, and roadmap planning to execution, launch, and post-release analysis and iteration.
  • Leverage data-driven decision-making to optimize product performance, conducting A/B testing and measuring impact through well-defined success metrics.
  • Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Design, Product Marketing, Engineering, QA, Data, Customer Success, to ensure seamless execution and adoption of new features.
  • Communicate product priorities, roadmap, and performance to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.

Impact on the Business:

  • Increase paid seats: Optimize conversion across the acquisition to activation funnel.
  • Increase ARPU: Optimize pricing, packaging, and upsell strategies to drive higher revenue per user.
  • Increase NRR: Improve retention and revenue expansion by delivering ongoing value and reducing churn.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management working on Growth teams.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and monetization initiatives in a B2B SaaS or subscription-based business.
  • Strong ability to craft and champion long-term product and growth strategy while ensuring execution aligns with business objectives.
  • Deep expertise in user acquisition, onboarding/activation, retention, expansion, and monetization strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience coaching a cross-functional team on growth best practices and mindset.
  • Highly analytical mindset with experience leveraging A/B testing, experimentation, and data analysis to drive product decisions.
  • Proficiency in tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, Looker, Omni, and SQL for data analysis and decision-making.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and senior leadership.
  • Deep understanding of PLG (Product-Led Growth) strategies and how to deploy them across the user journey.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications or Skills:

  • Experience working with products that provide connected experiences across mobile and web apps and driving consumer & SMB growth strategies.
  • Deep understanding of experimentation best practices and statistics. E.g., you know the difference between Frequentist and Bayesian analysis methods, and which one is right for the job.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and advanced analytics for deeper insights.
  • You love a good model, and can comfortably build ones to help you and the team make prioritization decisions, run scenarios to determine potential impact, and forecast impact of initiatives.
  • Prior experience mentoring/coaching other Growth PMs, Product Marketers, and others to excellence as a peer
