Position Overview:

The Senior People Success (HR) Generalist plays a key role in enabling business growth, leadership effectiveness, and an exceptional employee experience. This position partners closely with People Success Partners, leaders, and employees to support a wide range of people initiatives across employee relations, engagement, talent programs, learning and development, workforce analytics, communications, and process improvement.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, resourceful, and relationship-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment. They combine strong business acumen with a service mindset and are passionate about improving processes, leveraging data to inform decisions, and creating programs that help employees and leaders succeed. This individual is equally comfortable managing day-to-day employee needs while driving projects and initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.

This hybrid position is based in our San Diego (Del Mar Heights) headquarters. Team members work on-site Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with People Success Partners, leaders, and employees to support people initiatives and business objectives across the employee lifecycle.

  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees by providing guidance on workplace questions, policies, programs, and employee experience matters.

  • Support intake, documentation, and resolution of low-risk employee relations matters and team dynamic concerns.

  • Partner in the development and expansion of employee self-service and shared services solutions that improve efficiency and employee support.

  • Create, maintain, and analyze workforce dashboards, talent metrics, and people data to support strategic decision-making.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance People Success programs, processes, and operational effectiveness.

  • Support the administration and execution of employee engagement surveys, reporting, action planning, and accountability tracking.

  • Assist in the implementation and ongoing support of talent management programs, including performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives.

  • Support employee communications and internal campaigns that drive awareness, participation, and engagement.

  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives, including manager training, compliance-based training, and professional development programs.

  • Partner on the administration, deployment, and tracking of Learning Management System (LMS) training and learning initiatives.

  • Support compensation administration, annual people processes, and special projects as needed.

  • Assist with the implementation of new programs, policy updates, process harmonization efforts, and organizational initiatives.

  • Maintain knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and People Success best practices to support compliance and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate is typically expected to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Success, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, or a related function.

  • Experience supporting employee programs, talent initiatives, employee relations matters, organizational projects, or people processes that drive business outcomes.

  • Working knowledge of employee relations principles, employment practices, and workplace investigations, with the ability to appropriately escalate complex situations.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Experience leveraging HR systems and technology to improve processes and enhance the employee experience. Workday experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with employee engagement, talent management, learning and development, performance management, or related people programs.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, formulas, and pivot tables.

  • Proven ability to lead projects, drive process improvements, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrated curiosity, resourcefulness, and a continuous improvement mindset, with a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and operational excellence.

The salary range for the position is $84,554 - $101,833 - $127,646.

Offers near the high end are uncommon but may be considered for candidates with exceptional experience and skills and are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an annual discretionary stock award, to be discussed during the interview process. An annual pay rate and total compensation package is generally determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data.
