We are looking for a Senior HR Operations Analyst to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to James Sotto, Sr. Director, HR Technology and Operations and based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

The Senior HR Operations Analyst plays a critical role in delivering high-quality employee experience by ensuring accurate, efficient and compliant HR operations across the employee lifecycle. This role is responsible for onboarding execution, Workday data management, HR customer service and operational process improvements.

The Senior HR Operations Analyst partners closely with the HRIS/Workday team, Payroll, IT, Facilities and HR Business Partners to ensure seamless onboarding, data integrity and consistent HR support for employees and managers.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement of HR operational processes by documenting and standardizing procedures, streamlining workflows and identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
  • Own and execute end-to-end onboarding processes for employees, managing onboarding workflows and coordinating with IT, Facilities and hiring managers to ensure a seamless Day 1 experience.
  • Maintain accurate and timely employee data in Workday through audits and mass updates, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal controls.
  • Provide front-line HR operations and HRIS support to employees and managers, serving as a primary point of contact for Workday-related questions, onboarding issues and HR process guidance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Workday business process workflows, notifications and task routing; partner with the HRIS team to resolve issues and implement sustainable fixes.
  • Support HR compliance activities, including I-9 verification and reverification, audit support, labor law postings and preparation of data for external filings and reporting.
  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve HR knowledge resources such as HR portals, onboarding materials, job aids, FAQs and manager guides.
  • Prepare and deliver recurring and ad-hoc HR reports related to onboarding, headcount, turnover, data quality and operational metrics.
  •  Contribute to HR operational excellence initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline, automate and document HR processes related to onboarding, offboarding and employee changes.
  • Support Workday-related projects and enhancements (e.g., Onboarding, LMS implementation, offboarding workflows) through data preparation, testing and end-user support.

Skills and Experience

  • 2 - 4 years of HR operations, HR coordinator, or HRIS support experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday or another enterprise HRIS, including employee data management, basic configuration, troubleshooting and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality, with experience performing HR audits and control checks.
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain HR processes and systems to employees and managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance and Facilities teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related field or equivalent professional experience.
