Job Description

The Senior HRIS Analyst is a strategic partner in advancing the associate experience and operational excellence through HR technology. This role leads complex Workday initiatives, drives cross-functional collaboration, and provides expert-level support across multiple HR systems and modules, including HCM, talent, compensation, payroll, and benefits.

Our HR systems (Workday and SmartRecruiters) and modules include human capital management, absence, timekeeping, talent, learning, compensation, payroll, and benefits.

POSITION LOCATION:
This is a hybrid schedule based out of our headquarters in Deerfield, IL, with in-office presence expected at least 3 days per week (typically Tuesday–Thursday). 

RESPONSIBLIITIES:

What you will be doing

  • Lead strategic Workday initiatives, including implementations, integrations, and product updates.
  • Creating/Developing/Building business processes and serving as a subject matter expert across multiple Workday modules (Core HR, Talent, Advanced Compensation, Workforce Planning, etc.).
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to optimize processes and deliver global solutions.
  • Own data governance and ensure the integrity of associate data across systems.
  • Creative problem-solving. We are a large company! We want and value *strong* problem-solvers, scrappy solutionists.
  • Manage complex configurations, testing, and deployment of Workday business processes.
  • Mentor junior HRIS team members and guide stakeholders through system changes.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and insights to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HRIS experience, with deep expertise in Workday.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in data governance, system optimization, and change management.

Additional Information:

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $81,000 USD - $130,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
