Virta Health is on a mission to reverse metabolic disease in one billion people. Current treatment approaches aren’t working—over half of US adults have either type 2 diabetes or prediabetes, and obesity rates are at an all-time high. Virta is changing this by helping people reverse their metabolic condition through innovations in technology, personalized nutrition, and virtual care delivery reinvented from the ground up. We have raised over $350 million from top-tier investors, and partner with the largest health plans, employers, and government organizations to help their employees and members restore their health and take back their lives. Join us on our mission to reverse metabolic disease in one billion people.

This role gives you a front-row seat to how major health plans and partners bring Virta to their members. You’ll lead launches that showcase our product, our impact, and our ability to execute with precision. • Translate client goals into clear project plans, timelines, and deliverables; drive execution across internal and external teams

  • Oversee technical and operational launch requirements, including eligibility validation, data integration workflows, marketing readiness, and client configuration

  • Identify risks early, troubleshoot issues, and ensure launches stay on track.

90 Day Plan

Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:

  • Ramp quickly on Virta’s onboarding methodology, systems, and health plan workflows

  • Begin leading portions of client launches and managing cross-functional workstreams

  • Fully own 1–2 implementations end-to-end by Day 90, working towards delivering on-time, high-satisfaction launches

  • Provide insights and recommendations that improve how we scale health plan and partnership implementations

Must-Haves
  • 5+ years of experience in implementation, client onboarding, or healthcare operations ideally with digital health companies growing through PBM or health plan partnerships or health plans

  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with precision and accountability

  • Strong customer communication and relationship-building skills, especially with operational and mid-senior leaders

  • Technical and operational fluency in areas like data exchange, eligibility workflows, or healthcare integration

  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate risks, navigate ambiguity, and drive outcomes independently

Values-driven culture

Virta’s company values drive our culture, so you’ll do well if:

  • You put people first and take care of yourself, your peers, and our patients equally

  • You have a strong sense of ownership and take initiative while empowering others to do the same

  • You prioritize positive impact over busy work

  • You have no ego and understand that everyone has something to bring to the table regardless of experience
