We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a deep devops focus to help us build products that deliver value to our customers and the world. You will help transform the privacy space from a world of "Compliance" to an industry that is proactive and progressive with the interests and privacy of its users. It's a unique opportunity to join DataGrail at a time when we're still small but experiencing tremendous growth and success in changing the privacy space.
We have an ambitious product vision for a best in class privacy platform that delights our customers and users. As our product grows we need to scale and mature our infrastructure as well. We are looking for a Senior Engineer who can execute on this vision and also, partner with other engineers for a strong next generation Infra.
- Strong expertise with AWS services (EC2, ECS, IAM, VPC, RDS, S3, etc.).
- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- Proven experience with monitoring, logging, and observability systems.
- Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
- Experience with Postgres operations, migrations, and optimization
- Experience with micro services and distributed systems architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, availability, and cost across environments.
- Participate in the on-call rotation by triaging incoming questions and tickets, and helping lead the resolution efforts for high severity or high priority issues
- Ensure security and compliance, including IAM policies, encryption, and audit readiness
- Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and incident response.
- Document systems and mentor peers, promoting knowledge sharing and engineering best practices.
- Lead maintenance and upgrades of infrastructure components, ensuring reliability, scalability and minimal downtime.
Please note that the base compensation range below is a guideline and the final compensation will be based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies. Our compensation ranges apply to all US-based job postings regardless of state.
