Senior Insurance Product Analyst
*Must have have experience with Pricing or Product/State Management Analytical experience in the INSURANCE INDUSTRY. *

We are looking for bright and driven individuals to join our Commercial Auto Insurance Product Management team at GEICO!
Insurance Product Management is essential to GEICO’s continued success. The duties consist of analyzing complex business problems and key performance measures, understanding the drivers of performance, helping develop solutions to problems, and much more! Insurance Product Analysts are motivated, self-driven, and excellent analytical thinkers. As an Insurance Product Analyst, in addition to working with peers and management, you can expect to work closely with our partners in other areas of the business unit. You will do more than crunch numbers – you will be active in determining business strategies, educating management on our results, and communicating across departments to ensure company success. Your work as an Insurance Product Analyst will inform a wide range of critical business decisions.
As an Insurance Product Analyst, you will:
Develop, prepare, and interpret statistical analyses of insurance sales, claims experience, or other key business metrics to help support strategic decisions within the business unit
Develop, interpret, and present analysis and proposals to various stakeholder groups to help solve mid to high level business problems in pursuit of company goals
Employ basic statistical techniques to model various underwriting and pricing business practices
Candidate Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Math, Statistics, Data/Business Analytics, or other relevant quantitative field of study OR Bachelor’s degree in any field of study plus prior experience
Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Highly effective communication skills
Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
Basic to intermediate proficiency with data analysis software like R, SAS, Python, or Power BI
Ability to work independently given general direction and to thrive in a team environment that is constantly changing
Ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities, providing accurate and timely results
Intellectual curiosity to learn and ability to ask insightful questions
Effective time management, attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
Previous experience in auto insurance. Experience specifically in Commercial Auto is a plus
Annual Salary
$52,275.00 - $157,850.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
