We're a small team that believes providing access to better financial insights and tools improves people’s lives, so we’re taking money matters into our own hands.

Our product is a personal finance management app for iOS and Mac that people actually love using. Copilot takes advantage of machine learning to deliver powerful, hyper-personalized finance data insights to help users effortlessly understand and manage their spending, budgeting, and investing. We also use crowdsourced feedback to continuously improve the experience.

The Position

In this role, you’ll be part of our Apple Platforms team, developing our native iOS, macOS (Catalyst-based) and iPad apps. You'll work closely with our Product, Design, and Backend teams to define and build new features. You’ll also help us maintain and optimize our current features.

This is a hybrid position based in New York City, you’ll be required to come into our office in Brooklyn at least 2 times a week along with the rest of the team. We work from home the rest of the week, but the office is always available in case you want to make use of it more often.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Product and Design teams to define and implement new features and constantly improve the ones we already have.

  • Maintain and improve the quality and performance of the Apple platform apps.

  • Implement unit and UI tests for new features to maintain and improve reliability.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience developing natively for iOS/Apple platforms.

  • Solid understanding of the app and view lifecycles for UIKit-based apps

  • Experience with UIKit and the Swift programming language.

  • An eye for good design, and attention to detail.

  • Team player who can manage time independently.

  • Based in NYC.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent.

  • Experience with: Firebase / Firestore, CI / CD systems, and Logging systems.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual Salary of $150k to $185k

  • Equity in the company
